Marketing Intern- Allen Texas

A fast-paced marketing agency in Allen, TX is looking for a part-time marketing intern. The position is unpaid, however, the internship will offer valuable experience and training in all aspects of marketing. 

The Intern will be exposed to advanced digital marketing initiatives such as paid search engine marketing, display advertising, retargeting, email marketing, and more.

The ideal candidate is driven and passionate about sales and marketing. The Intern will work directly with the agency’s team to help develop and execute strategies for multiple clients. There will be ample opportunity to contribute ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Traffic management of projects of multiple clients
  • Growing the agency’s own online presence through social media channels
  • Communicating with current and potential clients
  • Simple data entry
  • Assisting with monthly email newsletters
  • Some general administrative tasks where necessary

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task, and take initiative.
  • Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach.
  • Outstanding communication and computer skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of the internet.
  • Experience with copywriting and content creation is a plus, but not required.

Details:

The internship is unpaid and does require 12 hours a week. The agency is willing to provide school credit if school permits.

Social Media Specialist

As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all social media outlets for one account (client) in our portfolio. Ensuring we respond accordingly to all reviews and questions and crafting posts and public updates for the followers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Create content and strategies for social media campaigns.
  • Generate captivating, original, high-quality content
  • Understanding of social media trends as well as what is “in,” “outdated,” and “the future”.
  • Conduct research and analyze the competition.
  • Meticulous proofing prior to publishing.
  • Excellent communication in the content produced and trust in providing the audience with the best and most relevant information possible.

Job Specific Requirements

  • Knowledge of multiple social media outlets with a passion for new technology.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for grammatical errors.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or social media role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or another related field.
  • Experience with video editing and design is a plus.
  • This position may require up to 50% travel, as needed
  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)

Part Time Receptionist
Looking for a part-time receptionist/assistant for a fast-paced marketing agency in Allen. Candidate must have a very friendly personality, and be reliable, responsible and detail-oriented. Communication, sales and customer service skills are the main requirements for this position. Candidate must be technologically savvy and willing to learn. 

Position requires 24 hours per week, an ideal job for a college student/retiree. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm. No work on Fridays or weekends!
